Fabrication machines
FabricationMachines and the Foundry
Segal Fabrication builds machines for additive manufacturing, machining, and cutting, with the process and the part in one plan.
Fabrication
Manufacturing platforms.
Machines for additive manufacturing, machining, and cutting, and the Foundry that runs them.
The problem
Manufacturing performance depends on the relationship between machine capability, material behavior, and the geometry of the finished part. Treating these as separate decisions can restrict quality and increase production complexity.
What we build
Segal Fabrication brings machine design and process development together across additive manufacturing, CNC machining, plasma cutting, powder-bed fusion, and waterjet systems. The Foundry program connects these platforms with toolpath development, inspection, and the practical requirements of making a part.
Part definition to first-article inspection
System drawingWhat we need from you
- What material, geometry, production volume, and tolerances define the part?
- Does the requirement call for a machine platform, a custom configuration, or a fabrication service?
- What inspection criteria and delivery requirements will determine acceptance?
What the work includes
- Machine and process selection matched to material, geometry, and production volume.
- Toolpath development and control requirements for the selected manufacturing method.
- First-article and inspection criteria aligned with the intended application.
