Segal Aerospace

Ares is the habitat and the equipment that has to be there before a crew depends on it.

A Mars settlement depends on the infrastructure that arrives before a crew. Transport, site preparation, shelter, utilities, and local material handling must form a coherent sequence. The architecture considers both the environment outside the habitat and the practical demands of living and working within it.

  • The habitat

Living space is designed for the length of a surface stay.

  • Cargo

What the crew needs is planned with the flights that deliver it.

  • Site preparation

Machines prepare the ground before the habitat is occupied.
