Secure C2 is how an authorized operator commands the spacecraft, and how an unauthorized one cannot.

Command authority must remain clear from the operator to the spacecraft. Authentication, software integrity, permissions, and recovery are considered across the command and telemetry path. The design also addresses interrupted contacts and the evidence needed to understand what was requested, accepted, and executed.
