SF-12
Segal Aerospace12U–27U CubeSat bus
A compact spacecraft for rideshare missions and small payloads.
What you get.
Segal Aerospace
SF-12 is built around a standard deployer and a common avionics core, so a small payload can fly without a one-off bus.
Small spacecraft still carry a complete mission. Deployable structure, electrical power, heat rejection, pointing, and the payload data path must share a tightly constrained volume. The SF-12 discussion starts with the instrument and the rideshare interface, then works outward to the spacecraft that supports them.
Deployer fit
The mechanical design follows standard deployer interfaces.
Common avionics
Foundry Edge is the flight software shared across the SF family.
Repeatable build
Assembly and test are set up for more than a single spacecraft.
