SF-GEO
Segal AerospaceGEO-class platform
A GEO-class spacecraft for long-duration communications and sensing.
What you get.
Segal Aerospace
SF-GEO is built for a persistent mission: electric transfer to orbit, a long operating life, and a payload that stays on station.
A persistent view of one region brings a different set of engineering priorities. Transfer, station keeping, thermal cycling, redundancy, and the long-term power budget shape the spacecraft around its communications or sensing role. The operating approach includes both routine service and the response when a subsystem degrades.
Operating life
Reliability and consumables are designed for a long mission.
Electric transfer
Electric propulsion raises the spacecraft to its operating orbit.
Beyond GEO
The same architecture supports missions past geostationary orbit.
Bus family
