Segal Defense
Field Drone develops a rugged unarmed aerial platform for military observation, site awareness, and field inspection. Aircraft, optical payload, communications, transport, maintenance, and human-supervised mission workflow form one program. Destination, environment, payload interface, operator workflow, communications, and required approvals define the configuration. The reference envelope describes the proposed airframe arrangement; endurance, payload capability, environmental ratings, and flight permissions are established for the actual configuration and operation.
Airframe
Structure, propulsion, packaging, and access are developed together.
Payload
The imaging or observation task defines the payload interface.
Operation
The human operator and ground workflow define mission ownership.
