Flux cuts with water and abrasive. No heat-affected edge, and a material range that includes what plasma and lasers refuse.
Waterjet cutting connects the material with pressure, abrasive delivery, nozzle behavior, motion, and support. Thickness and geometry shape the process and the handling of the workpiece. The absence of a thermal cutting source changes the tradeoffs, while inspection still determines whether the finished edge meets the requirement.
